There are different types of beds and bedding that are used. Beds are made of cotton or wool. Basically they are sacks in which these materials are filled in such a way that you have a squire or oval shaped flat structure that will not yield easily to your weight. Today beds are made also of latex or polythene. They are molded beds.
The latex or polythene gives softness and yields only in a limited way with the weight of the persons using them. Now days they have evolved techniques in which latex and fiber are used called the fiber forms.
Another type of beds that is popular today is the air-beds. Some of the modern air-beds come with an electrically operated pump. They can be inflated at will by switching on a source of power. One advantage of this air bed is that they are portable and carried from one place to another.
